When I learned about the concept of the /_Now-Page _I immediately liked the idea and was planning to set up one myself. And now, months later, here we are. Call me the fastest blogger ever.
For those not familiar with the /now-page movement: it’s a page “on a person’s website, that tells you what this person is focused on at this stage in their life” as it’s creator Derek Sivers puts it. And from Nownownow.com (a collection of /now-pages):
It’s useful for the same reason an “about” page is useful on your site: because people on your site want to know more about you. Besides answering the common question, “What are you up to these days?”, those who have a now page say it’s a good reminder of their priorities. By publicly showing what you are focused on now, it helps you say no to other requests.
With the new year around the corner this seemed to be a good time to launch it and try to be a bit more focused. And mine you can of course find here: toomuchlatte.com/now UPDATE: My profile is now live on nownownow.com as well.
