The Print Aid Project

In the beginning of the week Liverpool based photographer Pete Carr (well-known of his blog Vanilla Days) introduced his The Print Aid Project” and asked me about the possibility to contribute to his project to help raising money to aid the victims of the earthquake.

The Print Aid Project is a collaboration of photographers from around the world. The photographers involved have donated their images and time to the project and set up this website for free. This means that after printing and postage costs, every penny raised will be donated to the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake in Japan, March 2011.

Naturally I gladly donated an image and as of yesterday The Print Aid Project has officially launched and I would like to point you over to it. By the time of this writing eight fine photographers have donated an image and more will come in the future. Additionally I would like to thank Pete for asking me and setting up the project. I heard the first prints already got sold and if you are interesting in supporting the victims of the earthquake and receiving a fine piece of art in return please head over to The Print Aid Project’s side and chose one or more prints for your collection. Visit the site or follow the Print Aid project also on Twitter.
